About The Event
Decode Project Management: Get Your Game On!
In today’s project environment, diverse skills are undoubtedly needed to accommodate different project scenarios and situations. What do you know about design thinking? How about gamification? What about the two together? What about storytelling - do you value that skill? This session will pull all three components together in a unique and interactive session featuring a “game” that will help you better understand …. wait for it …. the flow documented in the Project Management Body of Knowledge, 6th Edition.
Participate in PMOtraining’s exclusive game that explores the project management framework implemented in organizations around the world. This workshop is the most fun you can have with the Project Management Institute’s (PMI’s) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Sixth Edition, a global gold standard which is now 750+ pages. We summarized it on just ONE page and made into a game! Dawn has run her game around the world including Indonesia, Jerusalem, London, Malaysia and Paris and it always gets great feedback. Join us for its debut in Florida!
This session is rated “E” for everyone! Whether you are simply curious about the PMI way or how the game works, are currently studying for the certification exam, were certified under a previous PMBOK edition, or are a seasoned professional, you will walk away understanding the latest version of this complex process in only an hour and have fun too. For a preview of the session, watch the post-session video recap (~2 minutes) from the 2018 ISPI Annual Conference in Seattle, WA: https://www.pmotraining.com/gaming
Please register EARLY for this event. Seats are limited! During the game, attendees will utilize the ProjectFlo® Visual Process Map to work through the “flow”, and we need a count to have enough for everyone!
